One of my favorite ways to jazz up an outfit is to add a pop of color. It's easy to put together an outfit for a day at the office with your business formal/casual basics, and if you are anything like my mom those tend to be in neutral colors so they will match anything. She has a lot of black, white and grey in her office wardrobe so I thought it would be fun to introduce a pop of color in the form of a blazer jacket.
Ok, I admit it, I actually had this red blazer from Forever 21 in my closet and found I hardly ever wore it so I passed it on to my mom. The benefit of being relatively the same size as your twenty something daughter! (There are indeed some pieces we can share and both look our own age while wearing them.) Now I know a lot of women do not tend to make their way into a store like Forever 21 unless they are with their teenage daughter (however you might take a second look next time), so I found a handful of "Pop of color blazers" from other stores for you to look at below.
