A great way to play around with color is trying out a monochromatic outfit.

Pick and fun color that works well with your skin tone and try wearing multiple pieces in that same color. Ok, ok I know the above outfit isn't exactly monochromatic with a black cardi over the top, but this outfit would still work with a matching burgundy cardi, if only I could find one. You can cheat too and wear neutral shoes or top layers, but try to keep your bottom and top colors the same as in the outfits I have found below.
