Herringbone Dress Pants

Finding dress pants in fun but subtle patterns such as herringbone or houndstooth is a fun way to mix up your outfits and add something new to your collection of dress pants.

Sometimes these patterns have a color scheme like the one shown above on my mom. Her Ann Taylor herringbone dress pants have burgundy, navy, and tan colors in them but it is so subtle that it is hard to tell unless you are looking at them up close. Adding a burgundy sweater helps bring that color out, but these pants can also act as a neutral and go with just about anything. A lot of times these patterns come in neutrals and make for a perfect wear-with-anything dress pant, like many of the pants shown below.
